Phil & Friends feat. Trey, Page, Kimock and Molo

Yes, you really have to hear this to believe it. These are high quality SBD recordings from three night stand at the Warfield 4.15-17.1999 when Phish and the Grateful Dead were united on stage for the first time. You can check out the introduction to and the excellent review of these shows as recounted by Mr. Miner himself (Bay Area author, David Caralco). For those of you not familiar with Mr. Miner’s Phish Thoughts, this is an incredible daily Phish blog with all kinds of special nuggets and fantastic writing–easily one of the best music blogs I’ve read! I seriously don’t know how this blog is so well maintained and he still doesn’t sell any ad space. I would say more about the shows and the blog, but they speak for themselves.
