what is google god up to? there’s lots of speculation on interweb. seems to have a lot to do with HG Wells…. September 15th’s logo was paired with a google tweet comprised of the exact coordinates of a field in Horsell, England…..the field where Wells set the first UFO landing in his book War of the Worlds. Today, September 21st is Wells’ day of birth….

I just want to throw something down from from the heart because given the nature of some of the posts below, things can be perceived as very hazy.
The iconographic mantra of the past few weeks has been this phoenix which appeared to me at the Mish during sonic bloom lucidly in my visual field shortly after it fell in the UK.
I truly believe that regardless of the current state of historical tides, we all stand to die and be reborn sooner than we think in such a marvelous way that only the phoenix can aptly describe the phenomenon.
I just watched String Cheese do it…..We’re about to see the sun do it.

and it’s probably more related that I consciously realize right now, but, you say you envisioned the phoenix at Sonic Bloom… Last night one of my dreams involved me being at Quakecon (in a month from now), but instead of ID Software running the event JAMIE JANOVER was running it! We were discussing something that I don’t need to get into, but quite fascinating indeed.
p.s. can anyone confirm that is a hawk and not a falcon or something?

..It’s not specifically a phoenix, but, it is referred to as “spread eagle” and many traditions across the world have utilized it including the American seal. Regardless, I was pretty fascinated by it. ..as I have dabled in exploring the concept of “bird people” and “fish people” n such found throughout so many cultures.
